Job Summary/Basic Functions
We are seeking a motivated Master of Public Health (MPH) student to join our Environmental Microbiology and Biomonitoring Laboratory as a student worker (20 hours/week). This position is ideal for a graduate student with prior laboratory experience and a strong interest in environmental health, including microbiology, chemical analysis, and biomonitoring research.
Responsibilities include:
• Assisting with environmental (e.g., water, soil) and biological sample (e.g., urine, nail) preparation and analysis
• Supporting laboratory operations, analysis, organization, and data management
• Assisting with field sample collection (e.g., water, soil and biological samples) when needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor's
Eligibility for a student worker position requires being enrolled at least part-time and in good standing at an accredited high school, junior college, college or university, or a vocational-technical school.
