Job Summary/Basic Functions

Under supervision of the Department of Information Technology, the incumbent in this position will provide broad networking and telecommunications support for the LSUHSC-NO Networking group, including installation of networking and telecommunications equipment, maintenance of inventory databases, and generation of knowledge-based articles for complex networking and telecommunication procedures. The incumbent will also interact with customers on front-facing network and telecommunication projects.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education: High School Diploma or GED

Other Education if applicable: must be enrolled in undergraduate degree

Eligibility for a student worker position requires being enrolled at least part-time and in good standing at an accredited high school, junior college, college or university, or a vocational-technical school.
