ASSISTANT DEAN FACULTY AFFAIRS

This vacancy is only available for current faculty at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor in the School of Public Health. The Assistant Dean for Faculty Affairs will work collaboratively with School leadership, program directors, faculty governance bodies, and institutional offices to develop a comprehensive faculty affairs strategy. The role serves as a coordinating and facilitating function and is not intended to duplicate responsibilities assigned to Academic Affairs, Research Administration, Human Resources, or other administrative units. The Assistant Dean will focus on five strategic domains: Faculty Development, Faculty Advancement and Mentoring, Faculty OnBoarding and Integration, Faculty Engagement and Community Building, and Leadership Development and Succession Planning. Experience serving on appointments, promotion, and tenure committees. Experience mentoring junior faculty. Experience leading faculty development initiatives. Experience managing strategic initiatives.
