Job Summary/Basic Functions
We seek a highly motivated and enthusiastic postdoctoral fellow to assist and conduct highly independent research, upon approval of the Principal Investigator, working on the NIH-funded Community Behavioral Intervention Research study(R01) related to LDCT lung Cancer Screening and smoking cessation. Together with the Principal Investigator and research team, the postdoctoral fellow will be actively engaged in preparing Institutional Review Board (IRB) materials, conducting intervention, data collection/analysis, and manuscript developments for dissemination of research findings.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Education: PhD
Other Education if applicable: Doctoral degree(DrPH, ScD)
Required Field of Study: behavioral and community health, health education and promotion, epidemiology, public health, social sciences or related field
Type of experience required to perform the job: Candidate will have strong qualitative and quantitative data analysis skills.
Candidates are expected to have excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience working with a diverse team.
Knowledge of cancer or tobacco control, health disparities.
Ability to work and interact positively with people from diverse backgrounds.
