Job Summary/Basic Functions
The Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) Technical Analyst provides the reporting, data, and technical analytics foundation for the Clinical Trials Office of the LSU Cancer Center as it pursues and maintains NCI designation. Working within the CTO and under the direction of the CTMS System Administrator, the Analyst is responsible for ensuring that OnCore data are complete, accurate, and reportable to the standards required by the NCI Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG), the Gulf South NCORP, and institutional research leadership.
The Analyst builds and validates the accrual, protocol lifecycle, Protocol Review and Monitoring System (PRMS), Data and Safety Monitoring Committee (DSMC), and research financial reports that the Cancer Center CTO leadership, Disease Site Teams, and the Clinical Protocol and Data Management (CPDM) function rely on for decision-making and NCI reporting.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor's
Required Field of Study: Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field
Number of years required to perform the job: 3 years
Type of experience required to perform the job: Database reporting, business intelligence, and/or application/data analysis
