Job Summary/Basic Functions
The Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery of LSU Health is actively seeking a candidate for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (non-tenure, clinical track) of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery to practice in New Orleans, LA. This is an excellent opportunity to join our growing practice. Responsibilities include patient care, resident and medical student education, and the pursuit of clinical research. Extensive collaborative research opportunities are available. Our faculty team members enjoy liberal cross-coverage for weekend and holiday on-call responsibilities and share the benefit of subspecialty support in rhinology, otology, laryngology, head and neck oncology, pediatric otolaryngology, and plastic/reconstructive surgery.
Salary and rank will be commensurate with the knowledge, education and experience of the individual.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Education: MD or equivalent
Certifications or Licenses Required: BC/BE (or equivalent) in Otolaryngology; Licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana and credentialed with all required entities before date of hire.
