Title: ASSISTANT PROFESSOR/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR - CLINICAL, HOSPITAL MEDICINE

Job Summary/Basic Functions

The LSU Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in New Orleans, Department of Medicine, Section of Hospital Medicine is seeking two (2) ABIM board certified/eligible (or equivalent) physicians in Internal Medicine for faculty positions, at the academic rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine (ono-tenue, clinical track, up to 1.0 effort). The incumbents will provide clinical hospitalist service at University Medical Center-New Orleans on the LSUHSC non-teaching inpatient service. Rank commensurate with experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education: MD or equivalent

Required Field of Study: Internal Medicine

Certifications or Licenses Required: ABIM board certified/eligible (or equivalent); Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Louisiana and credentialed with all required entities before hire.
