The Postdoctoral Fellow will contribute to a multi-year project focused on mapping urban heat exposure and identifying climate-driven health disparities in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The position will involve geospatial data analysis, land cover mapping using remote sensing data, environmental data integration, and urban climate modeling to develop fine-resolution urban heat maps of ambient temperature based on data collected from both mobile and stationary monitoring systems. The Fellow will work closely with the Principal Investigator and project collaborators to integrate field temperature observations with land use and land cover data derived from high-resolution drone imagery, in order to analyze spatial patterns of urban heat.
