Job Summary/Basic Functions

The LSU Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in New Orleans, Department of Medicine, Section of Hospital Medicine is seeking an ABIM board certified/eligible (or equivalent) physician in Internal Medicine for a faculty position, at the academic rank of Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine (non-tenure, clinical track, 75% effort). The incumbent will provide clinical hospitalist service at University Medical Center-New Orleans on the LSUHSC non-teaching/direct care inpatient service. Rank commensurate with experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education: MD or equivalent

Other Education if applicable: completion of an Internal Medicine Residency (or equivalent)

Required Field of Study: Internal Medicine

Certifications or Licenses Required: ABIM board certified/eligible (or equivalent); Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Louisiana and credentialed with all required entities before hire

The department of Animal Laboratories-Downtown campus is searching for an ANIMAL CARE TRAINER. Title: ANIMAL CARE TRAINER Employee Type: Unclassified Staff Department: Animal Laboratories-Downtown Campus Location: ANIMAL CARE/CLINICAL SCIENCES Job Summary/Basic Functions This position serves on the Division of Animal Care Leadership team. The incumbent is responsible for developing and delivering training on all aspects of animal care, safety, and departmental processes. This position will also develop assessment and evaluation tools, which he/she will use to create training plans for staff to aid in their development. Minimum Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor's Certifications or Licenses Required: ALAT Certification, Number of years required to perform the job: 3 Type of experience required to perform the job: Experience in a laboratory animal facility. Substitution: Four years of experience in a laboratory animal facility, with at least 2 of the 4 years training employees, may substitute for the Bachelor's Degree. Other relevant teaching/educational experience may substitute for the required experience on a year by year basis. An additional year of experience training employees in laboratory animal facility may substitute for the ALAT certification
