Job Summary/Basic Functions

Under the broad review of the Department Head, the Chief will provide leadership for the clinical, teaching, scholarship, administration, and research activities of the section. Work is performed at a mid-management level with some discretionary responsibility for the section.

Qualified candidates will currently hold or be eligible for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education: MD or equivalent

Certifications or Licenses Required: Board certified in Internal Medicine; licensed to practice Medicine in the State of Louisiana and credentialed with all required entities before hire.

Number of years required to perform the job: Ten

Type of experience required to perform the job: Experience in research, teaching and/or patient care.
Hold or be eligible for appointment at the rank of associate professor or professor.

MORGUE TECHNICIAN 1 or 2

LSUNO Anatomy (NO11010)
The department of Anatomy is searching for a MORGUE TECHNICIAN 1 or 2. The Morgue Technician will be responsible for the cadaveric remains of donors to the willed body program at LSUHSC-New Orleans.

RESEARCH ASSOCIATE 2 or 3

The LSU Cancer Center is seeking a Research Associate 2 or 3 (RA2/3) to plan, assist and conduct laboratory experiments on the project "Protein S, a natural anticoagulant controls Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma by mediating both antitumor and antithrombotic effects” including additional ongoing obesity research. Successful candidates must be able to work with a high degree of self-motivation.

RN CLINICAL TRIALS COORDINATOR 2 or 3

The LSU Cancer Center Phase I clinical trials program is seeking an RN Clinical Trials Coordinator 2 or 3 (RN CTC2/3) to coordinate, manage, and assist physicians in enrolling and monitoring patients on all Phase I drug-industry sponsored and the NCI-funded clinical trials.
