Job Summary/Basic Functions

Under the broad supervision of the business manager, the incumbent will provide administrative and financial supports within the assigned department, including day to day management and financial functions. Incumbent is responsible for adhering to all relevant rules, regulations, and policies of the University, the State, and the Federal Government as they related to the administration and financial operations of the departmental programs, contracts, and other activities. All duties will be accomplished with a high degree of independence, timeliness, confidentiality and initiative.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor's

Required Field of Study: Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related discipline

Number of years required to perform the job: Three

Type of experience required to perform the job: relevant professional level experience

Substitution: Master's degree in business oriented discipline can substitute for 2 years of required experience. Bachelor's degree in another discipline will be considered with an additional 3 years of relevant experience
