Job Summary/Basic Functions
The LSU Health Sciences Center, Department of Medicine, Section of Hematology and Oncology in New Orleans, seeks an enthusiastic faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (non-tenure, clinical track). The candidate will participate in teaching medical students, residents and fellows, delivering clinical service, and participate in our various research programs. Experience is preferred, but junior faculty with excellent training and a special interest in teaching should apply. LSUHSC offers an excellent benefit package, and salary is commensurate with experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Education: MD or equivalent
Certifications or Licenses Required: Board Certified/Eligible (or equivalent) in Hematology/Oncology; Licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana and credentialed with all required entities before start date
