Job Summary/Basic Functions

The LSU Health Sciences Center, Department of Medicine, Section of Gastroenterology in New Orleans, seeks an enthusiastic, successful Gastroenterologist at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (non-tenure, clinical track).

The successful candidate will participate in teaching medical students, residents and fellows, delivering clinical service, and participate in our various research programs. Experience is preferred, but junior faculty with excellent training and a special interest in teaching should apply. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education: MD or equivalent

Certifications or Licenses Required: ABIM board certified/board eligible (or equivalent) in Gastroenterology; Licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana and credentialed with all required entities before date of hire.

LSU Health New Orleans is seeking a motivated, research-minded individual to fill the role as the administrator for the new Clinical Trails Management System (CTMS). The incumbent will be joining the institution as the work on implementation begins and will have a significant role in determining the success of the implementation of the LSU Health OnCore instance.
