Job Summary/Basic Functions
The Department of Psychiatry of the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) School of Medicine at New Orleans is seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor (non-tenure, clinical track) to work in the New Orleans Area. The successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise in clinical work with children of all ages and families and an interest in teaching medical students and residents. In addition to staffing the Inpatient Unit and ER consults, the incumbent will participate in nights and weekend call. This is an excellent opportunity to be an integral part of nationally respected evolving clinical programs and may also include some involvement in undergraduate medical education, as well as other psychiatry resident and fellowship training programs.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Education: MD or equivalent
Required Field of Study: Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Certifications or Licenses Required: Must be licensed in Louisiana and credentialed with all required entities by start date
