Job Summary/Basic Functions
The LSU Health Sciences Center Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible (or equivalent) OBGYN for a faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor (non-tenure, clinical track) for a position located in Lafayette, LA. Primary responsibilities include direct patient care and resident supervision in the ambulatory clinics, and operating room. In addition, a commitment to teaching residents and medical students is required. Scholarly activity involving clinical research, quality improvement projects, and other publications are strongly encouraged and expected. Responsibilities will include clinical activity, research and medical education. He/she must be board certified/board eligible (or equivalent) in Obstetrics and Gynecology and licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana before hire date.

Required Education: MD or equivalent
Certifications or Licenses Required: Board certified/board eligible (or equivalent in Obstetrics and Gynecology; Licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana and credentialed with all required entities before start date
