Job Summary/Basic Functions
The Department of Radiology at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) School of Medicine in New Orleans is seeking candidates for an academic faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor (non-tenure, clinical track) with expertise in Pediatric Interventional Radiology. Our department is dedicated to excellence in patient care, education, and scholarly activity. Responsibilities will include all aspects of Interventional Radiology – procedures, outpatient clinical care and inpatient clinical care. Call will include weeknights, weekends and holidays, with ample time off. This is a wonderful opportunity for an Interventionalist to practice cutting edge Interventional Radiology in a stimulating environment
Minimum Qualifications
Required Education: MD or equivalent
Other Education if applicable: Interventional Radiology Fellowship or IR-DR Residency
Certifications or Licenses Required: BR certified in IR/DR or on the pathway to full-board certification; licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana and credentialed with all required entities before start date
