Job Summary/Basic Functions

LSU Health-NO Orthopaedics is currently seeking qualified applicants for an academic, orthopaedic hand surgeon to work with LSUHSC Orthopaedics at University Medical Center – New Orleans (UMCNO). Appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor (non-tenure, clinical track). Incumbent will assist with building a stand-alone hand service with both plastic and orthpaedic surgeons and will participate in resident education and research efforts for LSU Orthopaedics.

Required Education: MD or equivalent

Other Education if applicable: Graduate of an accredited orthopaedic hand fellowship before hire date

Certifications or Licenses Required: Board certified/board eligible (or equivalent); Licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana and credentialed with all required entities before hire date

LSU Health New Orleans is seeking a motivated, research-minded individual to fill the role as the administrator for the new Clinical Trails Management System (CTMS).
